Zambia Update
I went from my helicopter flight to the airport to catch a flight to South Africa (Johannesburg). I went through security and was checking in my bags when the attendant told me that the airline I was booked on was now out of business. There was only one other flight out today and it was full. So I'm spending another night in this beautiful town. It has given me some time to update the blog and catch up on email. I have a flight out tomorrow. As I sit in my hotel room I'm so thankful for the opportunity to come to Africa. It has been the trip of a lifetime. I have been able to see things I have dreamed of since I was a kid. The land that David Livingston once traveled is so beautiful and intriguing. God has used this trip to shape my heart even more to continue to reach out to the poor and needy around the world. I really miss my friends and especially my family and can't wait to get home. My new admin, Emily DeLaTorre started working this week while I'm in Africa. I was able to call her on her first day and welcome her aboard.
