We visited Peggy (15) and Steven(12) who's father passed away a few years ago and their mother has been in the hospital for several months. Peggy has assumed the head of the house hold which means cooking, cleaning and finding ways to earn a living all while going to school. Here is part of the walk from their home to their well which is about a mile walk. Peggy has to carry the tub of water on her head over this stream twice a day and it is a lot more difficult in the rainy season.

A Long Walk Home
We visited Peggy (15) and Steven(12) who's father passed away a few years ago and their mother has been in the hospital for several months.
